Beverly Conger, Shift Supervisor
I started working at the Personalized Communications call center after answering an ad on Craigslist in 2014 and being hired as a telephone service representative. I eventually learned how to dispatch and, in October of 2016, I became a part of the call center supervisor team. I accepted the position not to be above anybody, but to help each telephone operator to be the best they can be. This has been and remains one of my goals.
What do I enjoy about my job? I am blessed to be amongst some of the most wonderful people that I have ever met. We are like a little family and actually care about each other. Recently I had the opportunity to travel to our Amarillo answering service to meet the people that I interact with every day. I have always enjoyed helping people and my job here allows me to do just that.
The advice that I would offer to any new employee is to be on time and verify, verify, verify!
I am from a little suburb of Dallas known as Oak Cliff. Today, I still live in the house that I was raised in with my dogs that are my pride and joy. I think they honestly think that they are little people with fur! About 2 years ago I took up stained glass as a hobby, which is something that I really enjoy.
