Nicole Meadows, Accounts Receivable
I’m from Oak Cliff born & raised in Dallas, Texas. I have one sister 4 years older than myself. My mom was disabled my entire childhood so we had to grow up pretty fast. I started working summer jobs at a very early age of 13-16.
My life changed forever the summer of 1999. I was taking classes downtown Dallas at El Centro Community College and working as a floater in different law libraries filing paper, answering phones and assisting where needed. One day while taking summer classes, I visited the on-campus career center & saw an ad for Personalized Communications in North Dallas (I didn’t venture out much so I didn’t know where Hillcrest & Northwest Hwy was). I applied and was interviewed the same day. A couple of days later, I was in training. I was an operator working the evening shift, then moved up to answering our executive accounts Monday-Friday. Eleven months later a customer service and front desk receptionist position became available. I originally applied for the customer service position but God had other plans. I was granted the wonderful job as the administrative assistant. Shortly afterwards, I found out I was expecting my first beautiful baby girl, Jasmyne. Two 2 years after that, my amazing, handsome son, Jamar, was born.
I cherish this position because I love helping out where needed, love the owner of the company, my boss, Lucy, as well as the people I work with on a day-to-day basis. I have been offered other positions, but I love answering phones and assisting others. Two degrees (Associates & Bachelors in Business Administration) and 17+ years later, I continue with a smile on my face. I love my PCI family and talking to our clients on a daily basis.
In my spare time I enjoy going to church, watching Dallas Cowboys football, Dallas Mavericks basketball, Texas Rangers baseball, spending time with family and friends, going to movies, any park and library.
